Your information, treated with care

A conference about mental health should hold your details gently. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and how you stay in control of it.

Who we are

This site is run by the Conference Secretariat of the International Mental Health Conference 2027, based in Bardiya, Lumbini Province, Western Nepal. If you have any question about your information, write to us at mail@inmhc.org and a person on the committee will answer you.

What we collect, and when

We only ask for what we need to plan the conference and stay in touch with you.

When you fill in the register-interest form, we collect your name and email, and, if you choose to share them, your organization or affiliation, your country, how you describe your role, how you plan to take part, the themes close to your work, and anything you write in the message box. The message box is optional. Please share accessibility needs or health-related details there only if you want us to act on them.

If you create an account or submit an abstract later, we also keep the details you enter for that, such as your login email and the text of your submission.

Our host provides normal server logs (for example your browser type and a shortened network address) to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to you, to send conference updates you have asked for, to review abstracts, to plan sessions, homestays and logistics, and to keep the site safe. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else to market to you.

Who can see it

Your information is seen only by members of the organizing committee who need it for their part of the work. We use trusted services to run the site and send email (including Cloudflare and Google sign-in if you choose it), and they process data only to provide those services to us. Where the law requires it, we may need to disclose information to authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we are planning and running InMHC 2027 and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and reporting. When it is no longer needed, we remove it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also ask us to stop emailing you. Write to mail@inmhc.org and we will help. We will always answer you personally.
